Asia Art Foundation of New York | 798 Art and Business Forum Highlights

On December 21, the Asia Art Foundation of New York and the Harvard Beijing Alumni Association successfully co-hosted a Christmas Art Exchange Forum. This event, initiated by the Asia Art Foundation of New York and organized by the Harvard Beijing Alumni Association, featured thematic discussions on art and business. The keynote speakers included May Liu, Chairwoman and Founder of the Asia Art Foundation of New York, and Chen Tianchan, an AI artist from the Computer Science Department at MIT.  

 

Part I  A Perfect Fusion of Art and Music

Before the forum officially began, the Harvard Beijing Alumni Association invited outstanding violinists and pianists from the Central Conservatory of Music to deliver a Christmas-themed musical performance. The harmonious melodies intertwined with the festive atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for the forthcoming discussions on art and business.  

 

Part II  Art and Business Forum

 

Following the musical performance, May Liu, Chairwoman and Founder of the Asia Art Foundation of New York, and Chen Tianchan, an AI artist from MIT's Computer Science Department, delved into topics such as the integration of art and business, and the application of artificial intelligence in the arts. Their unique insights provided the audience with fresh perspectives and thought-provoking ideas.  

Part III  Immersive Art Exhibition Experience

After the forum, the Asia Art Foundation of New York organized a visit to the 798 Asia Art Center, where attendees enjoyed a joint exhibition by female artists Michelle Blade and Dong Xiaohui. Guided by professional docents, participants immersed themselves in the art, engaging actively with questions and discussions. Attendees provided positive feedback on the insights gained from the event and expressed eager anticipation for future art exchange activities hosted by the Asia Art Foundation of New York.
